Neil Gits To Look Down On The Alps

My son is currently enjoying his last few days away, exploring the world at the end of his second year of University studies. Last summer he was travelling and working around Central Europe, taking in Italy, Austria, Hungary, The Czech Republic & Slovakia, but this time he has spent his 4 weeks in just two countries – Egypt & Thailand ! I’ve been getting some terrific photos back from him of the inevitable pyramids and camels, plus a large number of temples & statues, but also quite a bit more …

The first pictures were actually taken out of the plane window flying across Europe to Cairo, looking DOWN on the peaks of The Alps – there’s a view you don’t see too often ! – and other surprising but equally interesting photos have popped up in my message box on Facebook at regular intervals. It will be great to have a good catch up with him when he returns in a week or so and of course I’ve got a real itch that needs scratching now – must get out and about in this country with my camera and see what I can find now the weather’s improved a bit.
